
Nathan Peck, Chief Executive Officer
Nathan Peck, age 42, is Chief Executive Officer of Cure VCP Disease, Inc. He was diagnosed with IBMPFD after his mother, Patty Sweetman Peck, passed from complications related to the genetic disease. He recognized the need for a formal entity that could 1) Bring together patients and caregivers affected by IBMPFD; 2) Develop an organized patient registry, and; 3) Drive fundraising and awareness efforts. In January 2018, he formed Cure VCP Disease, Inc. along with a passionate group of IBMPFD patients, caregivers and researchers.
Mr. Peck is now on full disability, but is a member of Global Genes Foundation Alliance Advisory Council. He also consults as President of Knee Walker Central (www.kneewalkercentral.com), an online e-commerce site that rents and sells knee scooters nationwide. He and his wife, Allison, have three boys that keep them very busy.
Mr. Peck possesses a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) as well as a MBA and Masters of Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Through Cure VCP Disease, Inc. he is committed to bringing together patients, caregivers, researchers, pharmaceutical/biotech companies, other non-profits and investors to identify treatments and ultimately a cure for this rare, genetic disease.
