Brain and tissue donation is essential to advancing research that leads to treatments and cures for VCP disease. By understanding the donation process and considering becoming a donor, you can make a profound contribution to scientific progress.

Cure VCP Disease has partnered with the University of Maryland Brain and Tissue Bank (UMBTB) to connect VCP disease patients and families with the information and resources needed to pursue brain and tissue donation.

  • Have been on a life supporting ventilator at the time of death

  • Active sepsis at the time of death
