The 2026 Cure VCP Disease Celebration will be here before we know it and we wanted to give you an idea of what to expect. In this guide you'll find everything you need to know to plan your evening with us!


Event Basics

When: Saturday, July 25, 2026

Doors Open: 5:00 PM

Bar Opens: 5:30 PM

Food Available: 5:45 PM

Event Officially Ends (Bar closes) Time: 9:30 PM

Event space is indoors and air conditioned!


Parking & Transportation

Parking at 42 West is limited, so we encourage carpooling or rideshare. We do have a limited number of accessible parking spots on site, and we will prioritize the lot for guests with accessibility needs. An attendant will be available to assist with disembarking for wheelchair users.


We will also have a complimentary round-trip shuttle running between the Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta and the venue. The shuttle is wheelchair accessible. [Shuttle departure times TBD — we'll update this page as details are confirmed.]


Attire: We encourage you to dress up in Southern Chic. What the heck is that?? Southern chic is wearing a tailored dress or bow tie. Southern style is seersucker and gingham, eyelet and linen, and loving your signature scent. Southern style is dressing up your school colors. Southern style is channeling the best of the South—the culture, the people, the history—and wearing your look with pride. But most importantly, be comfortable, but no jean shorts!!


WHY A CELEBRATION?

There is no better way to spread awareness and raise funds than by bringing together a community of individuals who are ready to fight and party with a purpose. The money we raise from the Celebration will support funding important research projects and critical resources that are important for VCP disease patients around the world. Bringing us together as a community to celebrate reminds us that we are in this fight together! 


WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE CELEBRATION?

Lots of fun! But more specifically…


  • All-you-can-eat BBQ from SmokeSouth BBQ – The menu is Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken, Green Beans, Mac n' Cheese. Your taste buds will thank you! 

  • Complimentary drinks featuring Fall Line's finest brews and wine– Cheers to that! Soft drinks, lemonade and sweet tea will be available as well.

  • Potential to win $1,000 in cash prizes – Three bingo games give you a chance to win cash! Increase your chances by purchasing extra bingo cards!

  • Family-friendly fun! Kids can play bingo and win too!

  • Raffles and silent auctions! – Check out our event page for our latest listing of available items. Something for everyone!

  • PLINKO! Play our plinko board for a chance to win a GRAND PRIZE!

HOW WILL BINGO WORK?

There will be three games of bingo played with a chance to win cash prizes! Every attendee will receive one bingo card set. Extra bingo cards can be purchased for $10 per card per game. Increase your odds of winning and raise more money for a cure by buying extra bingo cards.


HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE AUCTION?

All silent auctions will be conducted via our event page on GiveButter. 

Registration on the GiveButter site is required to start bidding. 


  • Bidding will open on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET

  • Bidding will close on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 8:45 PM ET.


Bidders set a maximum bid amount on an item. If other bids are placed, the system will automatically increase your bid until you are either the highest bidder or your max bid has been exceeded. If you are outbid (max bid exceeded by someone else), you will receive a notification and can return to increase your max bid.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN RAFFLES?

10 raffle tickets are offered for $30

  • Raffle winners must be present at the event to win. 

  • Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event with cash or credit card.

  • Place tickets in bowls at individual items or play to have a chance of winning!


Did you love Plinko on the Price Is Right??!! We have a special Cure VCP Disease Plinko game that will offer you a chance to win a grand prize (TBD) as well as other goodies! Land the Plinko chip in special spots and be entered into the grand prize raffles!


WHERE TO STAY?

If you're traveling to Atlanta for the event, we have a room block available at the Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta for Saturday night, July 25. The rate is $159 per night. Book using the link below before the block fills up!
